The design concept is 'wholesome growth'. That is, a child upbringing that hinges on good nutrition, mental and physical engagement and interaction so as to learn from both the environment and the society. This dictates the reduction of all hostile (mental and physical) factors to a minimum.
This led us to consider a number of factors to provide for in our design, key of these being:

1. Provide a supervised sleep area for physical and mental rest
2. Provide supervised play areas for muscle and cognitive growth
3. Provide a safe indoor play area, especially for the little kids, and when exterior weather
conditions are not favourable
4. Provide young mothers with a safe space, where they can consult and learn on reproductive
health and raising children and economic empowerment
5. Provide facilities that allow for the engagement and interaction of parents and their children

Supported by; administrative offices, a staff room, a kitchen, an eating area, a study/ reading room, baby sanitation areas, tuckshop, waste management area, mothers changing areas, lockers/ cabinets (storage facilities)
